Volunteering

The festival depends on a team of volunteers who do all sorts of things, from looking after performers and handing out programmes, to running bars, staffing exhibitions, distributing publicity and looking after the audience. Without our volunteer team the festival couldn't run smoothly. It's hard work and it's fun; volunteers experience the festival in a special way, meeting artists and performers, working together on interesting events and enjoying the satisfaction of being part of a valued community event. Volunteers also get to see festival events for free - and you'll make new friends. 

Even if you've only got a little bit of spare time in June we'd still like to hear from you. Volunteers can do as much or little as they like. Our Volunteer Coordinators schedule all volunteers according to their availability, so if you just want to help out at one particular event we can make that work. Or you could do much much more! It's up you.
