TAKE PART IN HOLMFIRTH ARTS FESTIVAL 2021
Work with local artists to make an art trail at Earthworks - New Mill Community Garden, that people will visit throughout the Festival.
We can come to your school/group or your school/group can work with us at Earthworks - New Mill Community Garden. We also have some drop in dates for family activities at the garden.
Invitation to all interested artists and participant groups/schools
Introductory twilight meeting at 5pm-6pm on Tuesday 25 May 2021 at Earthworks - New Mill Community Garden, Sude Hill, New Mill, Holmfirth, HD9 7ER.
The purpose of the meeting is to tell you more about the project, match artists to groups/schools and confirm dates for activities. Refreshments will be served.

Work with willow sculptor Dragon Willow (Leilah Vyner) to create living willow sculptures which can form part of the Art in the Woods trail and then be returned to your school/community group for you to keep and nurture.
Each school/community group of up to 30 participants can make up to 3 living willow sculptures.
We have 6 full day workshops available 9.30-3pm (or to suit your school timetable) with a break for lunch

Work with Edgelands Arts to help make a parade that tells the story of the History of Holmfirth, then be in the parade on Sunday 19 September at 2pm which will set off from Hollowgate end in a finale at Sands Recreation Grounds.
We can come to your school/group or you can work with us in Holmfirth Upper Market Hall (TBC).

We are making a nominal charge of £25 to secure a group booking for any of the activities. If this cost is prohibitive, please contact email@example.com. The Festival does not wish anyone to be excluded from participating for any reason. Community Groups and Schools may participate in multiple activities. Artists working on Art in the Woods may need to cover additional costs such as materials and time. This depends on the artist and what they negotiate with the school.
Drop in workshops are pay as you feel.
