PLEASE ACCEPT OUR APOLOGIES FOR THE CHANGE OF DATE FROM 20 to 27 AUGUST. A short aerial harness performance by skilled aerial dancers, Deborah Sanderson and Vince Virr, set to the soundtrack of Leaving Holme by Tom Holman Sheard which was the inaugural Steve Sykes Memorial Commission in 2022.

About the event
Inspired by water and quarries, and supported by Kirklees Year of Music , we are exploring two new projects in the landscape this year with a view to further development in 2023. On Cliff Quarry is the first of them Tickets are free but limited to 50 people. Please note the terrain is not suitable for people with limited mobility. Wear sturdy shoes and come dressed for all weathers. Roadside parking only, then a short walk to the quarry. Please park with consideration of residents. This project is created in collaboration with Holme Valley Land Trust.
