About the event
Local to the Holme Valley, New Mill Male Voice Choir performs traditional and contemporary songs which celebrate the flow of life: of hope and expectation, love and belonging, sadness and yearning, triumph in adversity, the journey and its destinations. The Choir, in partnership with Holy Trinity Church, is delighted to celebrate these themes as part of Holmfirth Arts Festival, and many of the songs will evoke images of flowing water to bring them to life. Performing locally and across the country, NMMVC comes from New Mill and beyond and welcomes members of all backgrounds – no previous musical training required.
