PATCHING WORKSHOP with Melissa Fletcher @melissafletcherembroidery

Learn how to build up a surface using scraps of fabric and found materials. This could be pieces of fabric that have been dyed in the natural dyeing workshop or scraps from around the house eg. Old clothes, duvet covers or tea towels

You will learn a variety of hand stitch techniques including running stitch, back stitch and couching that you will use to build up a patchworked surface onto your shirt.

Remember to pick up your materials from Holmfirth Tech (choose 1 date/time and drop in)

What you will need:

A pair of scissors

Scraps of fabric from around the home or from the natural dyeing workshop
